Race Summary:
- Marc Marquez (Gresini Racing MotoGP™) wins the Premio Red Bull di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini, his first back-to-back victories since 2021. His decision to stay out rather than gamble with a pit stop paid off as he dominated the flag-to-flag race
- Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) finishing second after staying close to Marquez for much of the race
- Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing) pitted early, ended up a lap down and finished in P15, with his Championship lead now reduced to just seven points.
- Enea Bastianini (Ducati Lenovo Team) completed the podium in third
- Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) also made significant progress, securing fourth as he benefited from the changing conditions
- The battle for fifth was intense, with Marco Bezzecchi (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team) fighting his way through the field. He passed Alex Marquez (Gresini Racing MotoGP™) at Turn 14, holding him off to finish in fifth.
- Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP™ Team) matched his best result of 2024, securing seventh, after battling with Jack Miller (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) in the final laps.
- Repsol Honda riders Joan Mir and Luca Marini missed the race due to illness
