Race Summary:
- Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing) claimed his 12th Tissot Sprint victory
- Marc Marquez (Gresini Racing MotoGP™) finishing second, from P13 on the grid
- Maverick Viñales (Aprilia Racing) completed the Sprint podium in third
- Martin got an incredible holeshot at the start, while Bagnaia had problems and fell back rapidly, eventually retiring from the race
- Marco Bezzecchi (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team) slotted into second, but then crashed out, leaving Marquez to chase Martin
- Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Racing) received a double Long Lap penalty for a jump start, before recovering to finish 5th
