Race Summary:
- Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing) claimed a commanding victory at the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia, his first Sunday win since the French GP
- With this win, Martin extended his Championship lead to 21 points over Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team), who finished third after a late charge
- Pedro Acosta (Red Bull GASGAS Tech3), despite pushing hard in the early stages, had to settle for second, but moved up to fifth overall in the Championship standings
- Jorge Martin had a perfect launch off the line and quickly built a gap
- Pedro Acosta moved into second place early on and challenging for the podium throughout the race
- Francesco Bagnaia had a difficult start, dropping to fourth on the opening lap and then down to sixth after being passed by Marco Bezzecchi and Franco Morbidelli; Bagnaia fought back, eventually finishing third
- Enea Bastianini looked set for a podium finish but a crash at Turn 1 on Lap 21 ended his race
- Marc Marquez suffered a major setback, as technical issues forced him to retire from the race on Lap 12, after starting from 12th and briefly making progress to 7th
